Sauce Bro's Party Poppers
Ingredients
- 12 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
- A bottle of your favorite Sauce Bro's Sauce
- Toothpicks (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (or preheat grill to medium-high indirect heat).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet or grill pan, bacon seam-side down.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, turning once, until bacon is crispy and peppers are tender.
- Grill option: Cook over indirect heat for 25–30 minutes, flipping occasionally.
- During the last 5 minutes, brush poppers with Sauce Bro's Sauce and allow it to caramelize.
- Remove from heat and brush lightly with more sauce before serving.
Serving Tips
- Serve with extra warm Sauce Bro’s sauce for dipping
- Garnish with sliced green onions or chopped cilantro
- Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving (they’ll be hot!)
