Sauce Bro's Party Poppers

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • A bottle of your favorite Sauce Bro's Sauce
  • Toothpicks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (or preheat grill to medium-high indirect heat).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Place poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet or grill pan, bacon seam-side down.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, turning once, until bacon is crispy and peppers are tender.
  7. Grill option: Cook over indirect heat for 25–30 minutes, flipping occasionally.
  8. During the last 5 minutes, brush poppers with Sauce Bro's Sauce and allow it to caramelize.
  9. Remove from heat and brush lightly with more sauce before serving.

Serving Tips

  • Serve with extra warm Sauce Bro’s sauce for dipping
  • Garnish with sliced green onions or chopped cilantro
  • Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving (they’ll be hot!)
